We consist of a team that works and lives in the Angus area. Angus Family Medical is ready to help you prioritize your health and well-being from newborn to the elderly.
We are affiliated with the Alliston Family Health Team to provide thorough multi-disciplinary care.

Dr. Shannon Reid
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
She/HerDr. Reid has been practicing family medicine since 2020, after completing her Doctorate and residency training with the University of Toronto. In 2025, she received an award from the Ontario College of Family Physicians for providing outstanding care.
Fun fact: she’s also a certified yoga instructor.

Dr. Yuri Canete
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
He/HimDr. Canete brings decades of experience and has practiced medicine in the Philippines, the United States, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. He earned his Fellowship in the College of Family Physicians in 2024 due to his dedication to providing exceptional care.
Fun fact: was the MVP of his basketball team during his teens.

Cheryl
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
She/HerCheryl is the first friendly face you will see at our clinic. She helps with appointments, documentation management, and day-to-day operations. She previously worked for decades as a Early Childhood Educator. The kids taught her to be a patient and caring person.
Fun Fact: she enjoys spending time outdoors, photographing sunsets.

Nadia
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
She/HerNadia has been a Personal Support Worker since 1999. She prepares you for your appointment. She gives injections, calls about cancer screening, and brings you into the examination room. She keeps everything running smoothly.
Fun Fact: she has a diploma in Aqua Culture Technology.
